Selamat Hari Malaysia 🇲🇾❤️

On 16th September this year, it will be the 58th anniversary of Malaysia our beloved nation.

Let us set aside all of our differences and focus on what makes us strong as a nation. Our diversity is the foundation of our peace and prosperity and we should cherish it and protect it at all costs. Progress is useless if it means sacrificing our identity and culture. We should find ways and means to celebrate our so-called differences more often, as we strive towards greater understanding and tolerance for each other.

Our Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob seems to have the right idea with his "Keluarga Malaysia" theme for the current government administration. The 12th Malaysia Plan "Keluarga Malaysia - Makmur, Inklusif, Mampan" that he revealed recently displayed his grasp of "family" as the corner stone for the development plans for the next 5 years. Perhaps this is what we need, a leader who understands that family always comes first.
